Hello!

Welcome to Fae & Flame Books. My name is Beth, and I am the owner/ book stockist/ product maker/ social media creator/ cleaner/ chef/ one woman band here! 

I have dreamed about owning my own bookish business for a long time, but have never had the time to put it into action, with being a mum to two children it's hard fitting everything in! But now my children are going to school, I have decided to push myself and reach for my dreams! One day I hope to have a physical bookshop in my hometown of Barrow-In-Furness, so that is what I want this business to become! 

We all know that buying books and reading books is two completely different hobbies, well it is for me! I'm sure everyone can relate. I love the idea of preloved/ secondhand books, but know that sometimes it is hard to find books you love in charity shops. So I thought, why not have an online shop where you can just search for the book you want to see if it's available!

Buying new books is great, you will always catch me in book shops! But it can become expensive. I got into reading three years ago, discovering the Booktok and Bookstagram communities and finally feeling like I belong somewhere. But after adding almost every book I saw to my TBR, I realised it was an expensive hobby! So this is why I have started this preloved book shop!
