  • How long until my order is shipped?

If you are ordering preloved books or a blind date with a book, I will always try my best to send them out within 24 hours! If you have ordered from my bookish clothes/accessories then these will be around 5-6 days due to them being handmade by me! I will always ship out as soon as I possibly can! 

  • How do I know the books condition?

The condition of the book will be in the description of the item. Most books will be in great, nearly new or brand new condition, but I will occassionally list some popular books that have some damage at a reduced price. The books with some damage or imperfections will be pictured accordingly, so make sure to check descriptions and pictures!

  • What payment methods do you use?

The website offers card payment, apple pay/google pay etc!

  • How can I contact you?

We have a contact form which you can find at the bottom of the website. You can also feel free to DM me on instagram or tiktok. I have facebook but i'm not very good at checking there, so i'd advise to avoid messenger on there! 

  • Can I return if I am not happy?

We don't accept returns on our preloved books or blind date with a books, unfortunately. Clothing and bookish accessories can be returned if they are faulty or not as described! Returns can be offered up to 30 days after purchase. Please make sure you contact me with photos and I will help as best as I can.

  • Can I collect an order if I am local?

Yes absolutely! There will be an option at checkout if you are local to Barrow-In-Furness and wish to collect your order. The address will be given after payment, when your order is ready you will be sent an email letting you know when you can collect.

  • Do you offer local delivery?

Yes, we can offer local delivery! I don't drive myself, but I have family members who are happy to help out and drop off any orders if you can't make it to me to pick up! We can deliver to anywhere in Barrow-In-Furness and Walney, but cannot deliver to Dalton, Ulverston etc. at this time unfortunately!

  • What do you get in a blind date with a book?

In a blind date with a book, you will get: a preloved book in amazing condition, a drink sachet (tea, coffee or hot choc), a bookmark, some biscoff biscuits and some bookish stickers! These are all wrapped into a cute little parcel!

  • Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship within the UK. Hopefully this will change at some point in the future!
